This year I had to work the holidays. Being a nurse, you don’t get off. I worked Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve. Thankfully my family were able to come to my house for the holidays I had to work, so I could enjoy their company and the food after I got off work!
The holidays this year went by in a blur, the new year was upon me before I had a chance to even think. Work is awful, it takes away the time I usually get to relax with my family during this time. Oh well, next year is a new year. But these holidays were good, my family is amazing and I love them so very much!
This is from November 23rd, the Doctor who 50th anniversary special, and November 28th, Thanksgiving with my family!
For the Doctor Who special, a whole bunch of my camp friends decided to get together for a weekend of celebration and just an excuse to hang out! I haven’t seen some of these people in couple months, or a couple years. It was nice just to hang out and relax with them!
The weekend of September 14th I headed up to Ramapo for the the annual Renaissance Faire in Tuxedo NY! My college friends have been going for the past 4 years, and I was never able to go until the year I am out of school! So I left after work and spent the night in their dorm. It felt good to back among those friends, and the dorm life that I actually kind of miss! I had a great college experience full of fond memories and hilarious times we spent together. It was good to be back with them for a night and day spent at the faire!
It was my first Ren Faire, it was overwhelming and awesome! Next year I want to dress up!
My new camera has a panorama button, I had it on my other camera has well, but never used that setting. So I attempted to make some great photos with this new camera. Here are some of my favorites! Most of them are from my trip to Ocean City, and the last one is from labor day weekend at camp with my mom.
Went to Ocean City, NJ, for a little family vacation the second to last weekend in August. We have been going as a family for around 4 years I believe. It has been my aunt and uncles family vacation spot for many years, and my mom and I decided to tag along one year, and we haven’t been able to stop. We have then taken our grandparents as well, and my father, brother, and sister-in-law if they are free as well over the years. It is a fun weekend filled with sitting on the beach, walking the boardwalk, and just sitting around and talking. I am so blessed to be able to spend an entire weekend with my extended family year after year.
