2014: January Vacation

Since I never got a vacation over the holidays, I decided to take a week off from work in January.  I was actually supposed to go to Hawaii to meet with my bestie Lara who is living in Australia at the moment, but she couldn’t go.  But I kept my vacation and instead went snowboarding with Heather and went to Cleveland with Elizabeth to see Kate.  It was a nice short break from work. (And I ended up having the worst week ever when I returned to work, but whatever.) Vacations are great, there were memories made, and time spent with the best people in the world.

2013: Winter Months: #5 Christmas and New Years Eve

This year I had to work the holidays. Being a nurse, you don’t get off.  I worked Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Years Eve. Thankfully my family were able to come to my house for the holidays I had to work, so I could enjoy their company and the food after I got off work!

The holidays this year went by in a blur, the new year was upon me before I had a chance to even think. Work is awful, it takes away the time I usually get to relax with my family during this time. Oh well, next year is a new year. But these holidays were good, my family is amazing and I love them so very much!

2013 in Review: Favorite Photos

2013 has been a crazy year, I quit my first nursing job and found another. I’ve been at my current job for 8 months now.  I’ve traveled a bit, to Virginia again, NYC and to camp a few times. Lots of memories have been made, lots of films have been watched, so much tv as well, and even more books.

2013: Winter Months: #3 Ramapo Party!

I went to visit my Ramapo friends on December 7th for a Christmas Sweater Party! Most of us were not wearing sweaters… myself including… but my old college roommates made up for it in decorations and delicious food, and the wonderful company I get to enjoy whenever I get to see them!

2013: Winter Months: #2 Giving thanks and Doctor Who

This is from November 23rd, the Doctor who 50th anniversary special, and November 28th, Thanksgiving with my family!

For the Doctor Who special, a whole bunch of my camp friends decided to get together for  a weekend of celebration and just an excuse to hang out! I haven’t seen some of these people in couple months, or a couple years. It was nice just to hang out and relax with them!

2013: Summer So Far #5: Ocean City Edition

Went to Ocean City, NJ, for a little family vacation the second to last weekend in August. We have been going as a family for around 4 years I believe. It has been my aunt and uncles family vacation spot for many years, and my mom and I decided to tag along one year, and we haven’t been able to stop. We have then taken our grandparents as well, and my father, brother, and sister-in-law if they are free as well over the years. It is a fun weekend filled with sitting on the beach, walking the boardwalk, and just sitting around and talking. I am so blessed to be able to spend an entire weekend with my extended family year after year.
